Delhi, India’s bustling capital, is a captivating blend of ancient history, cultural diversity, and modern life. A sightseeing tour of Delhi offers the perfect opportunity to experience the city's fascinating blend of Mughal, colonial, and contemporary architecture.

  • Start your day with a visit to the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Delhi’s most iconic landmarks.
  • From the Red Fort, head to the nearby Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque.
  • A short drive from Jama Masjid, visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma
  • Next, head to Humayun’s Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage site, and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. The tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun is set within lush gardens and is a beautiful example of Mughal architecture.
  • Visit India Gate, an impressive war memorial dedicated to soldiers who died during World War I.
  • After lunch, head to Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world. This UNESCO World Heritage site dates back to the 12th century and is surrounded by a complex of historic ruins, including the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque and the Iron Pillar.
  • Visit the Lotus Temple, a stunning Bahá'í House of Worship shaped like a lotus flower.

Later back to hotel overnight stay.

On Day 03, you will embark on a journey from Delhi to Agra, which is famous for its iconic landmarks, including the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

After breakfast at your hotel in Delhi, you will begin your drive to Agra (approx. 3-4 hours, depending on traffic). You’ll travel by private, air-conditioned vehicle for comfort. If you wish to break the journey, you may stop for refreshments or take photos of the scenic surroundings along the way.

Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel. Relax and freshen up before heading out for sightseeing.

After check-in visit :

  •  Head to Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage site. This massive red sandstone fort was the main residence of the Mughal emperors until the capital was moved to Delhi.
  • Conclude your day by visiting Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful garden located across the Yamuna River, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Taj Mahal at sunset. It's a perfect spot for capturing pictures of the Taj with a unique perspective.

Return to your hotel for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay in Agra.

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking Taj Mahal at sunrise. The early morning light creates a magical atmosphere around this iconic monument, making it the perfect time for photographs and reflection.

  • After your sunrise visit, return to your hotel for breakfast.
  • Take some time to relax, freshen up, and check out of your hotel in Agra.
  • After breakfast and check-out, begin your drive towards Jaipur.
  • Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World Heritage site built by Emperor Akbar. This abandoned city was briefly the Mughal capital before being left in disrepair due to water shortages.
  • After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, or your driver can stop at an en route restaurant during your drive to Jaipur.
  • Continue your drive to Jaipur, enjoying the scenic countryside views along the way.
  • Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will be transferred to your hotel.

On Day 05, you will explore the majestic and vibrant city of Jaipur, also known as the Pink City due to the distinct color of its buildings. Jaipur is famous for its royal palaces, forts, and rich Rajasthani culture. Here’s a suggested itinerary for a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur:

  • Begin your day by visiting the Amber Fort, a stunning blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. The fort, perched on a hilltop, offers panoramic views of the surrounding areas and the Maota Lake.
  • You can enjoy an elephant ride or take a jeep to the entrance of the fort, which adds a royal touch to your visit. Explore the various sections of the fort, including the Diwan-i-Aam, Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and Sukh Niwas.
  • Don’t forget to take in the beauty of the ornate decorations and the intricate carvings throughout the fort.
  • After Amber Fort, visit Jal Mahal, the beautiful Water Palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. This architectural wonder appears to float on the water. Though you cannot enter the palace, you can admire its picturesque setting and take photos from the banks of the lake.

    Absolutely unforgettable! Our 6-day Golden Triangle Tour with Taj Journey was an incredible experience from start to finish.     The sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra was the highlight of our entire trip. Seeing the Taj bathed in the soft morning light is an experience I’ll never forget – it was like something out of a dream. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Taj, which made the experience even more special.

    Traveling to Fatehpur Sikri and then on to Jaipur was seamless and comfortable.
